HI EVERYONE! Long time, no see. Snuffed by the Yakuza is back after year of licking and cleaning our wounds. We apologize to everyone who thought they were going to have the chance to see us live last fall. The tour was cancelled and you just have to learn to live with that. Two new shows are added to the upcoming gigs section and all of you are expected to be there at these two dates. The band is currently putting new masterpiece songs togheter for a new album. A warning is put out that it might be fatal to leave your dancing shoes at home, anywhere you might be heading. Take care of Y'all!

Snuffed by the Yakuza will perform live in Stockholm on the 17th of April. The band will open for Jon Spencers new constellation - Heavy Trash. Broder Tuck is the chosen venue for this happening and everyone is expected.

Snuffed by the Yakuza-nominee for P3-Guld!

It is now official that Snuffed by the Yakuza is nominated for best rock/metal album of 2006. The winner will be presented on the 20th of january 2007 and it will be broadcasted live on radio P3. Swedish television will broadcast the P3-Guld award-"happening" on the 24th of january 2007.

Home again after three and a half week out on the road. Gracias to everybody who has been supporting us and helpt us spreading the SBTY-message. We will now focus on writing new songs and play a few live-shows during what's left of 2006.

Our new album is finally out as well, released on Alleycat records. We are very pleased with how it all came out and hopefully you'll like it as much as we do.

Snuffed by the Yakuza's time has come!

I'm happy to announce that the new album "Everybody's gonna die tonight" is recorded and waiting to reach its listeners. It will contain about fifteen new high quality songs. Alleycat will release and promote the album. Don't miss the release party in Stockholm on the 6th of October. Debaser is the chosen venue for the event.

Jonk (Alleycat) has also been busy booking dates for the european tour later this fall (read more on the upcoming gigs section).

The new album is planned to be released on the first of September. The Band was yesterday visiting the studio were the recording will take place, starting on the first of July.
Don't miss us on tour in Europe between the 11th of October until the 4th of November. Even though it's a bit early to announce, it can't be said too many times!

In the studio, recording!

Hi boys n´ girls. For those of you that are waiting for new material from Snuffed by the Yakuza, you will just have to wait a little longer now. Snuffed has been in the studio recording songs for a 7". It will be released on Kenrock later this year. The band has also started to draw som sketches of the new album which is planned to be released sometime during this fall. More on that later though.

I'm very proud to announce that the videosection on this page has been updated and an animated video for the song "Romance at the stake-out" has been added. The creator of the video is Patrik Agemalm and he sure has done a great job. Watch the video in the music section.

Last night Snuffed by the Yakuza was interviewed on swedish radio. On the P3 rock show. The show can be heard on their homepage from now on for at least a week. Listen to it on www.sr.se/p3 and click your way to p3 rock.

DEBUT ALBUM RELEASE FROM SNUFFED BY THE YAKUZA!

Finally summer is gone and the leaves are turning brown. Snuffed by the Yakuza as a band are more active than ever. Snuffed Records proudly presents the band's debut album. Release date is set to September the 30th.

The album is a fourteen song blast and lasts for less than 26 minutes. It's a must for every boy and girl. So get the album! The sooner, the better. It's available on this website, just contact us and we will arrange your purchase. The album is also available at Sound Pollution (Stockholm) and Skivhuset (Uppsala). HAPPY NEW YEAR COMRADES!

Snuffed By the Yakuza welcomes you all to a new and sparkling era of the snuffed world. A world constantly in progress...

Thanks to all of you who went to see the show on Fellini in Uppsala in December, it was a great party and we had the best of fun. But the next Battle is closing in so you better not drop your gard just yet.

On the 26th of feb The Yakuzas will strike Norrlands nation in Uppsala. And they will strike hard, this time as a four piece by different reasons. We expect everyone to show up and we take no responsibility for the consequenses of not showing up... Be there early, around 9 pm to be shure cause after the headlining yakuza battle, the closing act Hell on wheels will clean up the area.

Soon I will let you know of the new Yakuza pieces that are, in this moment, actually beeing created down in the dungeons.

Good evening fellas!

Sorry to have let you all wait for such a long time. The yakuzas been mighty busy with activities like; assembling, sorting, and reattaching lost body parts mainly from the last time they all joined together for a last supper. But they did well I must say. In fact they did so well that when they were done they were no longer just a four piece group, the four had become five. That’s right a fifth freak has gotten in the picture. More details about that later though...

About the page I’m proud to present to you nine new songs for downloading and last but not least; an exclusive video of the members performing the ”crime of the century”.

During the summer there has only been one show and it took place at a private happening. The Yakuza performed live on the wedding of one of Uppsala's most famous dirtpunks, Dietro Quella´porta (former singer of the legendary rockacts; Diskonto, the Unkinds, and Sportlov).

But if you like to hear the yakuza in the near future you’ll have to go south (that might depend on where you’re from), to Denmark and Copenhagen. There will be at least one show in Copenhagen on the 15th of October. See ya all there!

Good day fellas!

SBTY Had a good time performing last weekend. The show lasted for less than ten minutes. While playing the fifth number of the evening the equipment caught fire and there was no more yakuza songs played. But luckily we filmed the few songs that were performed and we might just put it together and show it to all ya poor bastards that by some reason weren´t present.

The new mp3s are coming up real soon, so just hang in there and it will all be alright...

Hey ya'll!

The Yakuza have just reached the end of a busy period, the band has finished a brand new recording session which ended up in nine pieces. We were all surprised over the fastness and quality of the songs, but as both you and me know - the faster, the better!!! Some of the songs will soon be added to the music section and you will be able to download a few of ´em.

OK, so what´s up now you wonder. Well SBTY will perform old and new songs on the old and well respected Sernanders Krog in Flogsta, Uppsala on the 12 of June. You better come there if you still want to be respected among people.

At last I can gladly tell you that the show that was supposed to happen on saturday the 5 of June on the strange amusement park in Uppsala called Axel's Tivoli was cancelled the last minute, I belive that was for the best. Otherwise a lot of innocent children and ordinary people probably would have become hurt, fysically as well as psychologically.

The first version of the exclusive yakuza web home has been born, take your time and enjoy. Some adjustments have to be made and we are working on it...

The fourth soldier is soon expected back after a three month holy crusade on the north american continent and the group will be reunited again. During these months three battles has been fought back in Sweden:
13/2 Inkonst-Malmo
27/3 Fellini-Uppsala
3/4 Sernanders-Uppsala

The course is now set on making a new noise creation to be used in the upcoming war. This sword is to be hammered out some time in May.
